Software Engineer L5, Developer Productivity

This remote role is based in the USA.

Compensation:

$170,000 - $720,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain developer tooling for Netflix engineers.
• Provide mentorship to colleagues across teams.
• Develop strategies for adapting to changes in Developer Productivity AI.
• Optimize the onboarding experience through customizable Cloud Development Environments.

Requirements:

• Experience maintaining productivity tooling in a development environment.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants.
• Comfortable in a polyglot environment, particularly with Go, TypeScript, and Java.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and influence.

Optional nice-to-haves:

• Experience with MCP servers or AI tooling for software development.
• Knowledge of Linux systems and web UI development using React.
