Software Engineer 4 - Web & TV Player

This role is remote and part of the Web & TV Player team at Netflix.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $720,000

Responsibilities:

Enhance video player features, conduct A/B experiments, analyze data, and roll out new playback functionalities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience in streaming media playback.
• Proficient in Typescript and Node.js.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and adaptive streaming technologies is a plus.

Tech stack:

Typescript, Node.js, adaptive streaming technologies (MPEG DASH, HTML5 MSE, EME).
