Full Stack Software Engineer 5 - Member Commerce

This role is based in Los Gatos, California with in-office collaboration 2–3 days per week.

Compensation:

$388,000.00 - $558,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design and build backend systems for Member Commerce experiences.
• Own features end-to-end, from backend services and APIs through frontend integration.
• Build reliable, scalable services (commonly Java-based).
• Contribute to frontend development (React, TypeScript) when needed.
• Implement and analyze A/B tests.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team technical growth.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Proficient in building backend services (Java or similar).
• Experience with product-facing systems.
• Ability to navigate frontend codebases (React, TypeScript).
• Strong ownership from system design through production delivery.
