This role is based in Los Gatos, California, with a hybrid work model requiring three days a week at the office.

Compensation:

$250,000.00 - $413,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Build user experiences across web and TV platforms using TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
  • Own features end-to-end from frontend to backend.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to translate ideas into features.
  • Contribute to backend services and APIs, focusing on reliability and iteration speed.
  • Implement A/B tests and analyze results with data science.
  • Write well-tested, maintainable code across all layers.

Requirements:

  • 4–6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.
  • Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs.
  • Comfortable with backend codebases and API development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Tech stack:

TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Java.
