Data Engineer (L5) - Games

This role is remote-based in the USA.

Compensation:

$170,000 - $720,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Architect the foundation for business measurements across the games portfolio.
• Design, develop, and maintain core metric systems for business and operational metrics.
• Create advanced analytical data models optimized for performance.
• Build and optimize high-reliability data pipelines using frameworks like Spark and Flink.
• Define and enforce data quality standards at scale.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and champion best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on high-performance data systems.
• Expert-level data modeling and distributed processing experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala/Java, and mastery of SQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
