Data Engineer (L4) - Platform

This role is remote, based in the USA.

Compensation:

$170,000 - $720,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Engineer efficient, adaptable, and scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
• Develop a deep understanding of Netflix's cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with platform engineering and finance teams to improve platform efficiency.
• Maintain and rethink existing datasets and pipelines.
• Enable smart analytics by building robust data sets.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala (Scala preferred).
• Advanced SQL skills in complex data environments.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Spark, Presto, Flink).
• Prior experience with AWS cloud resources strongly preferred.
