Compensation:
$170,000 - $720,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Engineer efficient, adaptable, and scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
- Develop a deep understanding of Netflix's cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with platform engineering and finance teams to improve platform efficiency.
- Maintain and rethink existing datasets and pipelines.
- Enable smart analytics by building robust data sets.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of data engineering experience with proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala (Scala preferred).
- Advanced SQL skills in complex data environments.
- 4+ years of experience in engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Spark, Presto, Flink).
- Prior experience with AWS cloud resources strongly preferred.
