Software Engineer II (Mobile)

This role is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office).

Compensation:

CAD $85,000 - CAD $166,800 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end development lifecycle of mobile app features.
  • Design and build scalable components using Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android) or Swift/SwiftUI (iOS).
  • Collaborate with PMs, designers, and AI engineers to create AI-powered mobile experiences.
  • Optimize mobile performance and instrument telemetry for diagnosability.
  • Participate in feature rollouts and A/B testing.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for service reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience in Kotlin or Swift, or building cross-platform apps with frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in mobile app development.
