Software Engineer 2 - HW/SW Validation

This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with development, program management, and software engineers to ensure quality in hardware and software experiences.
  • Develop new test architectures, methodologies, tools, and comprehensive test plans.
  • Conduct technical reviews and audits throughout the development process.
  • Create appropriate test automation for core scenarios, performance, reliability, and stress.
  • Drive defect reproduction and analysis, and participate in specification, design, and code reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience in PC subsystems power consumption validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to design validation and verification strategies.
  • Working knowledge of multiple PC subsystems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of Windows and PC architecture.
  • Experience with firmware and/or embedded systems.
