Senior Software Engineer

This role is based in Redmond, Washington, with a requirement of 4 days in-office work per week.

Compensation:

USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement authentication and authorization systems for consumer Copilot.
• Build execution context isolation and information-flow controls.
• Contribute to cross-surface consistency in authentication patterns.
• Implement agential identity patterns for AI-powered flows.
• Partner with Microsoft Account and central identity teams for platform integration.
• Contribute to metrics and observability for authentication and isolation.
• Ship secure, well-tested, maintainable code and frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience in coding with languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with authentication/authorization systems and consumer identity flows.
• Familiarity with sandboxing and process isolation.
