Senior Data Scientist

This role is based in Greater Toronto, Ontario with remote work options available.

Compensation:

CAD $114,400 - CAD $203,900 per year

Overview:

As a Senior Data Scientist in the IC3 Data Science team, you will help shape the future of intelligent communications by developing scalable ML, AI, and LLM solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI tooling and large language models.
• Define analytical tool evaluation frameworks and validate analytical solutions.
• Partner with product managers to identify high-impact business problems.
• Build scalable, production-ready solutions and ensure reliability in deployment.
• Stay current on industry trends and define business objectives.
• Apply a customer-focused approach by training and evaluating models.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Doctorate in relevant field and 1+ years of data science experience, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of customer-facing project delivery experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms, programming languages like Python, and ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with transformer-based models and MLOps.
