Research Intern - Large AI Models for Digital Fabrication

USD $5,610 - $11,010 per month

Overview:

This internship involves exploring how large AI models can transform the end-to-end fabrication pipeline, from design authoring to machine execution.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate research questions and build working prototypes.
• Combine LLMs with computational geometry and optimization for fabrication tasks.
• Run controlled experiments and quantify improvements.
• Collaborate with researchers and document findings.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or large AI models preferred.
• Proficient in programming (Python) and familiar with PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX.
