This internship involves exploring how large AI models can transform the end-to-end fabrication pipeline, from design authoring to machine execution.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate research questions and build working prototypes.
- Combine LLMs with computational geometry and optimization for fabrication tasks.
- Run controlled experiments and quantify improvements.
- Collaborate with researchers and document findings.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs or large AI models preferred.
- Proficient in programming (Python) and familiar with PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX.
