Research Intern - AI Systems & Architecture

This internship is based in Mountain View, California, requiring in-office presence 3 days a week.

Compensation:

USD $6,710 - $13,270 per month

Responsibilities:

• Investigate emerging AI system architectures and analyze hardware, software, and model interactions.
• Develop performance models to identify system bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Prototype new inference mechanisms and assess architectural trade-offs.
• Conduct experiments and communicate results to mentors and researchers.
• Collaborate with fellow interns and researchers on AI systems design.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: Research experience in computer architecture, AI/ML systems, or performance modeling.
• Programming skills in Python, C/C++, and familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch.
