Overview:

As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team building foundational components of Azure’s AI networking infrastructure, focusing on high-performance, scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, manage, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers.
  • Lead the design and development of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Drive engineering planning and execution aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure service reliability and health through monitoring and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.
  • 10+ years of professional software design experience in large-scale distributed systems.
