Compensation:

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and scale a team of 8–10 high-performing software engineers.
  • Hire, mentor, coach, and retain top technical talent.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, development, code reviews, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure operational excellence and live-site reliability.
  • Own and evolve large-scale authorization systems with a focus on security and resiliency.
  • Partner with Product Management to deliver short-term goals and long-term business objectives.
  • Drive cross-team collaboration across Microsoft partner groups.
  • Foster an inclusive, healthy, and high-trust team culture.
  • Champion Microsoft values and engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • 4+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems.
  • 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
