Principal Software Engineering Manager - Data Analytics

This role is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office).

Compensation:

CAD $142,400 - CAD $257,500 per year

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure services for data engineering and analytics workloads.
• Manage a team focused on improving scalability, resiliency, and observability of services.
• Drive operational excellence through troubleshooting practices and engineering improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and performance-critical code.
• Collaborative mindset and ownership mentality.

Tech stack:

Apache Spark, Azure Data Engineering, big data systems.
