Principal Software Engineering Manager

This role is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a requirement of 3 days in-office work per week.

Compensation:

CAD $189,000 - CAD $303,800 per year

Responsibilities:

• Develop best practices for coding, debugging, and incident management.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee design document development.
• Share best practices and oversee tool development within the team.
• Drive automation of deployment tasks for efficiency.
• Act as an expert in live site service operations and security best practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand user requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 4+ years of people management experience preferred.
