The Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft delivers AI-powered experiences and models. This role focuses on architecting biometric identity systems for secure digital interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver scalable biometric identity and AI systems across various platforms.
  • Design hybrid cloud and device-based intelligence.
  • Create evaluation frameworks for system impact.
  • Drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with research and product teams.
  • Prototype and implement secure execution environments.
  • Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience in coding (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).
  • Experience in designing cloud and device-based systems.
  • Strong system design and architectural skills.
  • Experience with AI-powered systems and security-critical systems.
