Principal Security Engineering Manager - Windows + Devices

This role is based in Redmond, Washington.

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

Overview:

The Microsoft Windows Security team seeks a security engineering leader to secure Microsoft Windows products and devices, focusing on offensive security and engineering mitigations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of team to identify and mitigate risk in Microsoft products.
• Influence across groups to manage threats and risks.
• Leverage security knowledge to devise new protections and exploit mitigations.
• Manage and grow a high-performance team.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field AND 4+ years of experience in security, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of people management experience.

Preferred:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or security-related engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with native code and vulnerability identification.
• Public track record of relevant security research.
