The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year.
Overview:
The Microsoft Edge Browser Security Team is responsible for securing Edge client code, engaging with developers, performing proactive vulnerability research, and ensuring reactive response flows are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Provide line management to a team of engineers.
- Help develop and grow engineers.
- Plan and execute strategies for growing Edge’s capabilities.
- Oversee security response work.
- Collaborate with other security teams across Microsoft.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Doctorate or Master's in relevant fields with experience in software development lifecycle and cybersecurity.
- 1+ year(s) people management experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with relevant security research and writing basic exploits.
- Development and deployment of fuzz testing and/or static analysis software.
