Overview:

At Microsoft, you will contribute to defining long-term direction for AI/ML and GenAI workloads, including custom code training and developer-facing APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape multi-year investments across model training, customization, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Drive alignment across cross-organizational initiatives with engineering teams.
  • Define high-leverage platform abstractions (APIs, SDKs) for scalable adoption of GenAI.
  • Influence architectural direction and ensure platform capabilities meet scale and reliability expectations.
  • Engage with customers to gather insights and validate requirements.
  • Use data and metrics to evaluate impact and inform product decisions.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor within the organization.

Qualifications:

Must-have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in product management or software engineering.
  • Strong technical depth in cloud platforms or AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of influencing strategy and delivering outcomes through collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience building platforms for developers or data scientists.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI/ML workloads.
  • Experience with product-led growth or ecosystem-oriented platform design.
