This role is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a work site requirement of 3 days per week in-office.

Compensation:

CAD $142,400 - CAD $257,500/year

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end developer experience across notebooks, APIs, and AI-assisted tooling for Apache Spark workloads.
  • Translate insights into product priorities to improve usability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance Spark capabilities.
  • Advance AI-assisted developer workflows to reduce operational complexity.
  • Represent the Spark developer experience in cross-team decision making.
  • Embody Microsoft’s culture and values through collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience in product management or software development.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering in Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in product management or software development.
  • Experience taking products to market and improving product metrics.
  • Deep understanding of GIT and DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
