This position is based in Redmond, Washington.

Compensation:

USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year

Overview:

As part of the Microsoft AI design team, you will define the next generation of generative AI experiences, balancing product strategy, interaction design, and brand expression.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and design innovative product features leveraging generative AI.
  • Create compelling visual designs and interaction patterns.
  • Develop product vision through storytelling and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to shape product roadmaps.
  • Establish design principles that scale across multiple surfaces.
  • Mentor and elevate design quality across the team.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and design.

Qualifications:

Required: Master's Degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in product design, or Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience.

Preferred: 9+ years in product design with a strong sense of interaction design.
