Principal Group Engineering Manager

This role is based in Redmond, Washington, with a focus on leading the modernization of Microsoft’s Partner Reporting and Collaboration platforms.

Compensation:

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering strategy and execution for modernizing the partner engagement platform.
• Oversee cloud-based service development with emphasis on reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
• Define platform vision, requirements, and multi-year roadmap with Product and TPM.
• Drive engineering quality via observability, automation, and CI/CD.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience.
• 3+ years experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience delivering distributed systems, cloud services, or large-scale platforms.
