Principal Firmware Engineering Manager

This role is based in Mountain View, California, with a requirement of 3 days in-office work per week.

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

Responsibilities:

• Lead the BIOS/UEFI development team, ensuring high-quality solutions across the Microsoft cloud fleet.
• Drive security enhancements and manage firmware components.
• Oversee new hardware development and compliance with BIOS/UEFI requirements.
• Manage planning and feature delivery using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to establish innovative hardware solutions.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's in relevant fields with significant technical experience.
• 12–15+ years of experience in engineering management or technical lead roles.
• Proficient in low-level firmware development and project lifecycle management.
