This role is based in Redmond, Washington, with a requirement to work in-office 4 days a week.

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

The Bing organization seeks a Principal Data and Applied Scientist to enhance online A/B experimentation capabilities and impact measurement methods.

Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation in large-scale online A/B experimentation for AI-powered web search.
• Provide technical leadership and guide cross-functional partners in advanced experimentation platforms.
• Build and scale advanced experimentation expertise across teams.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in a relevant field and 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL-like query languages and programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Familiarity with search engines and large datasets.
