Overview:

Microsoft AI is looking for a Member of Technical Staff - Software Engineer to help build the next wave of capabilities of our personalized AI assistant, Copilot. You will actively contribute to the development of AI models that are powering innovative products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and tune pretraining scalable software for Nvidia and AMD architectures.
  • Benchmark GPU clusters and gather data for compute roadmap.
  • Contribute to AI model development and ensure smooth operation of AI jobs.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years of experience in coding (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).
  • Experience with generative AI and distributed computing.

Preferred:

  • 8+ years of experience or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in leading technical projects and supporting architectural decisions.
