Member of Technical Staff - Principal AI Engineer, Health

At Microsoft AI, our Health team aims to help users manage their health through innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Bridge research and product by translating AI research into prototypes.
• Build evaluation systems to measure model quality and safety.
• Ship prototypes rapidly and drive decisions with data.
• Lead through expertise and mentor teammates.

Required experience/qualifications:

• Extensive experience in AI/ML with strong technical fundamentals.
• Deep LLM expertise and significant Python programming experience.
• Proven track record in building LLM agents and applications.
• Knowledge of AI safety and responsible AI practices.
• Healthcare or clinical informatics background preferred.
