Member of Technical Staff - AI Pretraining - MAI Superintelligence Team

Overview:

At Microsoft AI, we are on a mission to train the world’s most capable AI frontier models. The Pre-Training team tackles challenging problems in deep learning at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop algorithms, model architectures, and scaling laws for large-scale training.
• Drive algorithmic implementations and oversee flagship training runs.
• Collaborate with teams on infrastructure, data, and multimodality.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Technical experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Proven expertise in the area of pretraining.

Preferred:

• Experience in large-scale AI.
• Passion for conversational AI and its deployment.
