Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) organization is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environment Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
Responsibilities- Build collaborative working relationships with customers to support effective communication and service delivery.
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center.
- Manage, plan, organize, and control both preventative and corrective maintenance for electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Utilize CMMS to monitor equipment performance, prevent failures, and ensure timely execution of work orders.
- Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems operate at peak efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with infrastructure operations standards and procedures.
- Lead small-to-medium projects from conception through completion.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Qualification or equivalent AND 2+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Data Center Operations Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,400 - $168,800 per year.
