Cloud & AI Solution Architecture Director

This role is based in Germany, with a flexible work approach recommending at least two days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Chief Cloud Solution Architects.
• Ensure the team drives material business and technical outcomes for Microsoft's largest strategic enterprise customers.
• Provide deep enterprise architecture leadership across AI, application modernization, data platforms, infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Partner with customer executives to align technical strategy with business outcomes.
• Model Microsoft’s culture of growth mindset, inclusion, collaboration, respect, integrity, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading Senior Architecture Teams in a comparable Enterprise Architecture environment.
• Proven ability to translate customer business strategy into scalable cloud architectures.
• Extensive experience in customer-facing roles, guiding modernization journeys.
• Strong executive-level engagement and influence skills.
• Deep experience designing enterprise architectures on Azure.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in both German and English (Level C2 or higher).
