This internship is based in multiple locations in Germany, starting in June 2026, with a contract duration of 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop prompts and fine-tune large language models for accurate clinical language generation.
  • Apply techniques to distill knowledge from highly performant large language models to relatively smaller models.
  • Design and develop scalable and robust tools for data processing, experimentation, and analysis of results.
  • Drive systematic improvements in system accuracy through carefully designed experimentation and analysis.
  • Produce clear documentation of methods, results, and insights, and actively share findings through presentations and collaborative discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with natural language processing or machine learning.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany.
  • Must speak fluent English.
