This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$140,000/year to $198,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of crowdsourced mapping, localization, and spatial understanding programs for XR devices.
  • Manage cross-functional programs spanning data collection, map building pipelines, and location services.
  • Drive partnerships and integrations with internal teams and external partners.
  • Operate at different levels of abstraction, from strategic planning to tactical project management.
  • Identify technical and cross-team dependency risks and drive solutions.
  • Act as the primary communication channel for key discussions involving engineering leadership and partner teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Geospatial Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field.
  • 7+ years as a technical program manager or related role.
  • Experience with program management methodologies like Agile.
  • Experience managing programs involving large-scale data systems or platform software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mapping, localization, SLAM, computer vision, or geospatial technologies.
  • Experience in AR/VR, robotics, or consumer device programs.
