Technical Program Manager, Wearables Base Platform Software

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with additional locations including Redmond, WA, Seattle, WA, and Burlingame, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-organizational partnerships to execute large-scale workstreams for software release planning and execution.
  • Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, managing multiple interdependencies related to manufacturing software.
  • Monitor program progress, assess risks, and ensure readiness of software for validating new hardware devices.
  • Demonstrate ownership and influence strategic direction across organizations.
  • Resolve conflicts and drive progress on software releases.
  • Collaborate with teams for technical analysis, design, development, and testing phases.
  • Travel internationally to align with manufacturing partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management, emphasizing embedded software development.
  • Proven experience delivering complex technology programs from inception to delivery.
  • Proficiency in understanding user needs and defining project scope.
  • Experience in release management and optimizing engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer electronics manufacturing as an OEM representative.
  • Experience with external software and silicon vendors.
