Software Engineering Manager

This role is based in Seattle, WA with additional locations including Burlingame, CA and remote options.

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and feedback to engineers through regular one-on-one meetings.
• Help the team achieve goals by removing obstacles and managing daily tasks.
• Engage in active listening and encourage open dialogue across disciplines.
• Set clear goals and provide direction for the team.
• Leverage technical skills to guide the team through challenges.
• Support team members' career development and performance discussions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years as an engineering manager with experience in game development.
• Experience with AI coding tools and building software with LLMs.
• Knowledge of software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing Graphics or Server Engineers.
• Familiarity with C++ and 3D Game Engines.
