Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to develop software for Meta's global network infrastructure.
  • Manage software engineers building, scaling, deploying, and supporting network systems.
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for the team.
  • Assess employee performance and help engineers develop their careers.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience managing a networking-related software engineering team.
  • Experience with software development for distributed and embedded systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale network designs and operations.
  • Experience with network routing protocols or SDN controller development.
