Software Engineer, Machine Learning | Ingénieur logiciel, apprentissage automatique

This position is remote in Canada.

Compensation:

CA$159,000/year to CA$213,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative application experiences.
• Implement custom user interfaces using the latest programming techniques.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality and performance.
• Lead major initiatives and provide technical guidance to peers.
• Architect efficient and scalable systems for complex applications.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and reduce technical debt.
• Work with various coding languages and technologies.
• Establish ownership of components and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of programming experience or 4+ years with a PhD.
• Experience driving change and leading technical projects.
• Ability to utilize data and analysis for problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques and information retrieval concepts.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
