Software Engineer - iOS (Technical Leadership)

This role is based in London, UK.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that enhance organizational efficiency.
• Lead long-term technical strategy and roadmap for large cross-company efforts.
• Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
• Understand industry and company-wide trends to assess and develop new technologies.
• Collaborate with organization leaders to improve team performance.
• Identify new opportunities for the organization and influence staffing/prioritization.
• Resolve performance and scalability issues, driving efforts to reduce technical debt.
• Partner closely with product and foundational infra teams to build scalable architecture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building complex applications for iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++/Swift with the iOS SDK.
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmaps aligning short-term projects with long-term missions.
• Experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects.
• Utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide solutions.
• Experience mentoring and influencing executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Experience shipping products to millions of customers with stable infrastructure.
