Software Engineer, iOS

This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$184,187/year to $209,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems.
• Understand relevant product areas, codebase, and systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
• Produce high-quality code with good test coverage.
• Work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Design and implement infrastructure and user experience for components of the Instagram app.
• Utilize knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, and Python.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience coding in C, C++, Java, or C#.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Experience creating web applications using Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
