This role is based in Bellevue, WA with additional locations in Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY.

Compensation:

$7,313/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Build highly-scalable software systems using languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, OCAML, and Python.
  • Design flexible APIs for Meta product teams.
  • Proactively identify and drive changes in the assigned codebase and systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Research or work experience in relevant areas such as Algorithms, Distributed Systems, or Security.
  • Experience coding in C++, Java, PHP, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
  • Demonstrated software engineering experience through internships or research.
