Senior Engineering Manager, System Software

This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
• Drive the full lifecycle of Systems Software development for Android and MCU platforms.
• Establish technical vision and uphold best practices in software architecture.
• Partner closely with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Stay updated with industry advancements to inform strategy and execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of direct technical management experience within software engineering.
• Track record of managing managers and leading large, distributed engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in design and development of products based on Android and MCU platforms.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building and scaling systems software for wearable devices.
• Expertise across systems software components, including operating systems and connectivity.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready software in fast-paced environments.
• Background in cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
