Senior Engineering Manager, System Software

This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
• Drive the full lifecycle of Systems Software development for Android and MCU platforms.
• Establish technical vision and uphold best practices in software architecture.
• Partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver software requirements.
• Stay updated with industry advancements to inform strategy and execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of direct technical management experience in software engineering.
• Experience managing large, distributed engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in the design and productization of Android and MCU-based products.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building systems software for wearable devices.
• Expertise in operating systems, connectivity, multimedia, and system health.
• Ability to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
• Background in cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
