Research Scientist Intern, Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models, PhD

This internship is based in Paris, France and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop novel state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of algorithms.
• Conduct research to advance Machine Learning and AI technologies.
• Collaborate with researchers and communicate research progress.
• Publish research results applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or obtaining a PhD in relevant fields such as Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Work authorization in the country of employment.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C, or Java.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like Pytorch or Tensorflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after internship.
• Track record of significant results in research.
• Experience in ML/AI research and problem-solving using quantitative approaches.
