Research Scientist Intern, PyTorch Distributed (PhD)

This internship is based in Menlo Park, CA and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.
Compensation:
$7,650 to $12,134 per month + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to improve machine learning frameworks.
- Collaborate with PyTorch users to enable new use cases.
- Develop advanced algorithms for large scale distributed training.
- Optimize distributed training and inference use-cases using graph-based and compiler-based technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or related STEM field.
- Experience in machine learning/deep learning domains.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with training models at scale using PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX.
- Knowledge of distributed GPU clusters.
- Intent to return to degree program after internship.
- Proven track record of significant results in research.
