Research Scientist Intern, Physics-based Simulation for Avatars and Robotics PhD

This internship is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, design, and develop novel algorithms for modeling and simulation.
• Prototyping and analysis of experimental systems.
• Design and execution of algorithms.
• Collaboration with researchers across various disciplines.
• Communication of research agenda and results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field.
• Work authorization in the country of employment.
• Experience with computer vision, 3D geometry, and programming languages like C, C++, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
• Experience in physics-based simulation, 3D geometry reconstruction, and deep learning.
