Research Scientist Intern, Optical System Design (PhD)

Meta Reality Labs brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality. Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners.
• Publish research results and contribute to product development.
• Develop next generation AR/VR displays.
• Explore optical system design applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in relevant fields.
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
• 2+ years experience in optical research.
• 2+ years experience with scientific programming languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing GPU-accelerated simulation tools.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Proven track record of significant results.
