Research Scientist Intern, Multimodal Foundations (PhD)

This internship is based in Bellevue, WA and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm with research mentors and review literature on real-world research problems.
  • Develop novel solutions and implement prototypes.
  • Draft and polish research reports and publications.
  • Present research outcomes to audiences.
  • Contribute research applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision, NLP, Machine Learning, or related fields.
  • Research experience in Computer Vision and NLP.
  • Experience in Python, C++, or similar languages and familiarity with PyTorch.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to the degree program after the internship.
  • Track record of significant results in research.
  • Experience with large-scale data manipulation and analysis.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
