This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
Compensation:
$7,313/month to $12,134/month + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Build and characterize experimental hardware and software systems on AR devices and prototypes.
- Develop embedded firmware and software in real-time operating systems and mobile operating systems, e.g., AOSP.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers across various disciplines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience with languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with computer architecture and hardware/software co-design.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hardware and software system prototyping using embedded devices and FPGAs.
- Experience in operating systems, drivers, and embedded firmware development.
- Experience working in a machine learning framework, e.g., PyTorch.
