Research Scientist Intern, Modern Recommendation Systems (PhD)

This internship is based in Bellevue, WA, with opportunities for remote work.

Compensation:

$7,650 to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead research efforts in recommendation systems and multi-modal content understanding.
• Conduct original research applicable to Meta's product development.
• Design and support video understanding libraries and models.
• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• Experience with Python and machine learning libraries like Pytorch.
• Familiarity with AI/ML modeling techniques.
• Experience in building machine learning systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program post-internship.
• Track record of significant results in research.
• Experience in sequence modeling or recommendation systems.
