Research Scientist Intern, Machine Learning, Human Motion Models (PhD)

This internship is located in Zurich, Switzerland and lasts between 12 to 24 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Prototyping, building, and analysis of novel research ideas
• Design and execution of algorithms, planning and analysis of experiments
• Collaboration with and support of other researchers across various disciplines
• Communication of research agenda, progress, and results

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Robotics, Machine Learning, or related fields
• Understanding of machine learning, 3D geometry, optimization, and system building
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
• Interpersonal skills for cross-group collaboration
• Work authorization in Switzerland at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intent to return to degree program after internship
• 2+ years experience in human motion synthesis, perception, or generative modeling
• Track record of results in top vision or robotics journals and conferences
