Research Scientist Intern, Generative Models for Human Motion (PhD)

This internship is based in Seattle, WA and focuses on developing realistic digital characters with lifelike movement using generative models.
Compensation:
$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, adapt, and evaluate current state-of-the-art models
- Research and develop new models and prototypes
- Share findings with other researchers across disciplines
- Present the outcomes of research findings as papers in top tier conferences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of research experience in Computer Animation, Computer Vision, or Deep Learning
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience applying deep networks to video or motion analysis or synthesis
- Passion for complex temporal phenomena such as human and animal motion
- Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in accepted papers at top conferences
